Oral Medicine:
We diagnose and treat head and neck medical diseases. In some instances, mouth symptoms and signs reflect problems only in the mouth. However, in some cases mouth symptoms can suggest a connection with disease or problems in other parts of the body and it is we who can decide what tests or investigations are needed in these situations.
We deals with the acquisition and interpretation of radiographic imaging studies performed for diagnosis of treatment guidance for conditions affecting the maxillofacial region

Oral Surgery:
Oral and maxillofacial surgery is done for treating many diseases, injuries and defects on face, jaws, the hard and soft tissues of the oral and maxillofacial region.

Following things are done under oral and maxillofacial surgery-
Extraction: Severely decade or destructed teeth which cannot be saved are removed. It is also performed to treat crowding of teeth. Some extractions are performed with the non-surgical procedure but some of them are performed with a minor surgical procedure like 3rd molar extraction.
Cyst / Tumor Removal: Cyst & Tumor are surgically removed with proper evaluation & diagnostic procedures.
Fracture / Trauma of head & neck area: Any kind of trauma to head & neck region due to Road traffic accident or assault are treated under guidance of Oral Surgeons after proper examination and explanation to the patient.
Reduced Mouth Opening (OSMF): Reduced mouth opening due to excess consumption of tobacco or Betel nut chewing may lead to cancer. If it is diagnosed and treated on time it can be cured.
Oral Cancer Detection: Before removal of any extra or unusual growth from the growth, tests are done to check the presence of cancer cells.
